The Labyrinth

Will you race me through the labyrinth?
Will you journey by my side?
Will you hold my hand on dying days
And trust me in the shadows?

Will you dance beneath the galaxies
Immersed in my embrace?
Will you search the stars beside me
Until their beauty fades?

Will you kiss me with the sunrise
At the birth of every day?
Will you shelter me beneath
Your tender loving gaze?

Will you let me hold you close
No matter how you feel?
Will you open up your heart
And remind me of what is real?

Will you be my kindred spirit?
Will you be my loyal friend?
Will you be my faithful wife?
And love me till the end?

Antonia June Simonik
Will you marry me?

*When I proposed to Antonia on March 20th, I recited this poem.*
